EFT Tapping & Somatic Processing
As a Tapping & Somatic Practitioner, I offer Tapping Therapy and Somatic Processing to help release emotional and physical discomfort. Tapping, also known as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), is a powerful tool that combines ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. It targets the root cause of anxiety, depression, phobias, and other chronic illness by interrupting the body's stress response quickly and effectively. Somatic Processing allows your body to release suppressed emotions and build your capacity to move in and out of emotional states. My personal technique combines tapping, breathwork, vagal exercises and body awareness to allow the body to release and re-balance.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands, and ears that correspond to every part, gland, and organ of the body. As a Reflexologist, I use specialized thumb and finger techniques to apply appropriate pressure to specific points, promoting relaxation, improving circulation, and supporting overall well-being.
Wellness Education
I studied at the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies & Education, The Nervous System School, and through multiple other holistic medicine & energy work agencies. I also have my BSN and spent years as an ICU nurse. In addition to Tapping Therapy and Reflexology sessions, I provide wellness education to empower individuals with knowledge and tools for managing their emotional and physical health. I offer workshops and resources to support clients on their journey of growing and healing.
CranioSacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a light touch Therapy that allows the body to balance itself. Light touch is place on the sacrum, spine and cranium, releasing tension in the body's fascia. This restores balance in the nervous system and may allow for an emotional release.
My Approach
A somatic session starts with discussing your struggles and desires. We dive into the bodily sensations and see what comes up, and find the root by following your body's lead. We then process and release your stored stress responses by using tools to tell the body it is safe, while allowing the sensations.
Through Tapping Therapy, Breathwork, Reflexology, and wellness education, we address the root cause of your physical and emotional discomfort. I strongly believe in creating a nurturing, accepting, and supportive environment where you can release suppressed emotions and feel more at ease. We build acceptance of all parts of yourself, to allow for growth and change.
We also work on building regulation outside of appointments, to build a resilient nervous system that can recover from stressors and keep you feeling at your best.
